The film part that disturbed you for life...

Which film is that from, just out of interest?
I've never been able to explain it, but there's something peculiarly creepy about someone looking through a window at you, smiling and beckoning in a clearly malignant way. I can think of several films where it's been used (particularly by Polanski in The Tenant).
Salems lot, with David Soul.

An old film called The Car about a possessed car, only about 9 years old old when I saw it.
The worst one was watching the first Omen when I was about 11, that kid was scary and the music!

I saw that film. The ending was certainly not expected, but felt cheated. It felt like I had just wasted 90 mins watching something that never happened.
I know where you’re coming from on that, though I didn’t feel it too strongly on this film.

There are others where that “cheated” feeling was stronger for me. Ones that spring to mind are Seven, Memento, and Lost In Translation, though tbf on the latter, it was more a feeling of ‘have I really just wasted 2 hours of my life watching that steaming pile?’

Of course though it’s not a film, ending of GoT would be high up in that category too!

Really, you need to know who this is and so, out of context, it may not mean that much.

But, for me, it's really changed me a lot in how I deal with people (especially in my job when I'm in different types of houses with volatile circumstances) and knowingly there's genuine psychopaths out there that can turn any innocuous thing into life or death...

The head in Jaws.

You beat me to it. As an 8 year old my mum put her hand across my eyes. Wanting to see what the fuss was about I accidentally peeped. Had nightmares for years. My son of 9 watched it recently and thought ‘Really’ are you joking. I had to sing Baker Street to myself to take my mind off it.
