The First Game of the Season City vs Newcastle Pre Match

We have to start Jesus Navas next Monday night. He's a class player, world cup winner like Silva and I'm certain he'll make a big impact not just against Newcastle but on the whole Premier League. I honestly think we'll do Newcastle. I've been looking at Marathonbet's odds and they've priced the game up pretty well. Definitely worth a look.

Feels very strange seeing other fans dread playing us, still not completely used to being a world class side yet. Feels good though :)

Newcastle fans can be strangely pessimistic tbh. They re like the opposite of Liverpool fans lol

Its a tough one for them - they were pretty poor last year - could have gone down and the summer has hardly been a great success - with Ashley stirring it up again. I think there are plenty of sides worse than Newcastle - so they don't need to worry too much about the dreaded drop but you can see Kinnear and Pardew having a 'stand off' (power struggle) all season and I'm not sure setting up a corner of France in the North East is the way to go.

As for Liverpool - haven't you heard - this is their year.
