I think if we start Milner, Fernandiho, and Yaya at home against Newcastle the board would've just kept Mancini. Negative, especially with our attacking additions this summer.

I think it's bad form to bench Dzeko in favor of a new signing, albeit one who also had a good preseason and scored for Spain the other day. Dzeko has looked like a reborn player, second against Milan was world class and the type of ball/goal we will see a lot of this year (and if you go back and look at Dzeko's Wolfsburg highlights, all of his best goals are on this type of ball over the top).

We'll have plenty of games, but I think unless it's obvious the newcomer is better than what's already present (Navas, Fernandinho, Jovetic) you go with familiarity for the opener.

Negredo will come in the second half to score a brace.
