I think loads of people are underestimating Newcastle this season. They've got largely the same squad that finished 5th a couple of seasons ago and with no European football to distract them this time, they'll be more focused on the league. If they find a decent strike partner for Cisse and make sure they play him through the centre, I think they'll be dangerous. Having said that, we should still beat them.

Is Aguero expected to play btw? I didn't think he was fit. Or at least only bench fit.
I think he is bench fit.

I agree with you with regards to Newcastle. They've got a very good midfield, a dangerous striker and it will be a very tough game.

Like it was a tough game last season when they had virtually the same team?
Every game is different, never mind a whole season ago.

Remember when we played Liverpool and dicked them 3-0 and they came back a week later and beat us 1-0? The games couldn't have been more different. That was just in a separation of eight days.

One random game last season means absolutely nowt now. They have got a good midfield and they have got a dangerous striker.

I do think we'll win though. But it will be a tough game.

Due to a two hour drive I normally don't drink at a game but staying over in town tonight - happy days!!! Where should we head for a few beers in the city centre before setting off to the ground?
Come on City!!!! I'm going for a 4-0 win :)

3-0 City. Hopefully Dzeko and Jovetic start. I have a feeling this partnership is going to be deadly.

Just looked at the Mail online's preview of tonight's game, and guess what there's fuck all
mention of it. Just a story about Pellegrini wanting to win every trophy available this
season. Why so much hatred?

I get the feeling we are going to see something special tonight.

Same here, infact i'm convinced of it. The signing of Remy means they might sneak a goal, (good signing that), but I think we are going to come out and make a real statement of intent in the way we play, and pretty much demolish Newcastle from start to finish. Really hope Jovetic starts.
