I totally agree with that team selection. Then on the hour mark lets give Sergio some much needed match fitness.

I'd leave Sergio and Navas to the 2nd half.

Newcastle have two big centre halves who will relish playing Negredo/Dzeko.

It will be hard work this. They'll play 451 and they have a lot of quality in midfield. Let them flog themselves to death, and then bring on Navas and Aguero on the hour mark to make the breakthrough

Early goal, settle the team down, then we can get into our stride and make it safe by half time please! Top on goal difference with a 4-0 home win will do very nicely !
However, Pardew has stated that he wants his team to put down a marker against City, so if we are expecting a walkover, well, we maybe in for a rude awakening! It maybe very physical from Newcastle early on, so expect a few cards...

Afraid that's how it's gonna be, period, for us this season... Everyone else's cup final. (the rags included)
