i agree with the biased and corruption of the CL, made for the established elite clubs .... but that cant be used as an excuse for another poor season, with bad performances, and poor tactical decisions.
Have to look more at the current managerial and coaching team who were brought in to improve us, not take us backwards.

What was dodgy, Fern shouldn't of gone but Nasri should. Yaya did one of the most moronic things I've ever seen. Aguero borderline dive. We were crap, the tactics were crap, the fans attitude to the game was crap. Ultimately we got what we deserved, nothing. We were lucky in fact not to of lost by more AND been down to 8 men. I am disgusted with the behaviour of the players tonight and what can we expect when we approach a game with such negativity?
Clearly you missed the part where CSKA scored from a freekick because Clichy had no chance of getting his hand out of the way, where the referee chose to book the wrong man rather than send off one of the CSKA players and refused to give a blatant penalty in the last minute of the game.

The referee booking the wrong player springs to mind. Would have resulted in 10 vs 10 but no, best book Ignashevich who happens to look nothing like Wernbloom who was already on a yellow. That aside I do actually agree with most of your original post. I just find the inconstancy of the officiating in this competition frustrating to say the least. It seems that almost every other Chumps league games go without incident, apart from ours.

So that makes it corrupt. We should be winning these games comfortably not find ourselves 1-0 down after 120 seconds. Why were we incapable of defending a free kick so early?? And did that wrong booking in the 80th minute to decide the game? It was just general bad refereeing and had nothing to do with the result.
Every problem in this game stemmed from us not doing ourselves any favours at all. Yaya was a total twat, Nasri the same, we deserved nothing, we should of had at best 9 men on the pitch. I hate UEFA too but we are at fault for the disgraceful showing tonight and to me this is probably one of the lowest points we've encountered since the takeover.

Right lets get one thing cleared.... those of you saying fuck the champions league are talking crap, saying that we should boycott it etc, well you might as well tell our owners to pull everything out of the club and go somewhere else to try.
Yes the ref was shit and we have had a fair few dodgy decisions, but tonight was a disgrace both in terms of the players and the tactics. The fact is we have been shit in Europe and in the league for some time. At the minute we are now the laughing stock of European football and deserve the slating in all honesty because those recent displays by the team fuel that fire
Progress is what the owners want, not to actually piss the governing body of European football off,
No doubt serious questions need to be addressed because it seems not to be a happy camp at the minute. Proper test at the weekend because if Pellegrini can't get a performance from them, god knows what will happen
