So you're not answering the question then? Strange fucker.

I'm strange? You want to try attending games instead of sat at home on your arse telling everyone its easy to get to the game because its only a little bit windy.

Fucking hero. Talk shit mate as always.
When I say that's enough, I mean that's enough. Like the players, you can have a night off, as can anyone else who does the same.
I only saw that after my last one so I will leave it there PB.

Absolute disgrace. Well pissed off!

Plus it's absolutely fine now.

I left work, got to the carpark, went to ASDA to get something to eat, walked back to the car and put the radio on to listen for updates. It was bad, but really not that bad. And now it's just a strong wind, nothing serious whatsoever.

But they've had all fucking day to call it off and they've known since the weekend that the weather was going to be bad today.

What about all the Blues who travel a long way and the Mackems coming down from up there?

They should have been onto the Met Office this morning and a decision should have been made then not at 18:30. Most people who will have decided to come to the game will have left by that time. And the rest will have made the decision not to go.

It doesn't matter if just 10000 or so fans turn up. The game just needs to go ahead if it can and it really could have. Right now the weather is just fine and as I say of bet by 18:30 everyone who will have been coming will have set off already.

Stoke just delayed their game. Why not do that? Give everyone the extra time to get into the ground?

When are we going to play this fucking game now?

Just don't understand this decision at all, at the time it was made.

Because its dangerous that's why. I agree with your point about it being called off hours earlier but no way should that game be played. Ridiculous to think otherwise. My lad has had to fork out £40 for a taxi home as all trains cancelled.

Not had a text off city yet

Rememeber once getting a text off them with my seat details for the champions league game 3 days after the match.

Never the quickest

Just this second got mine. Good job it wasn't a wind (oops) up.

Please save us from daft self-centred "it's a disgrace" rants. I know it's England, and it has to be someone's fault, but sometimes these things just happen. If someone had died the exact same people would have been calling it 'a disgrace' to have gone ahead.

sensible decision .... i'm sure the staium might have lessen the wind outside maybe .... but its really picked up here East Manchester in the last 2 hours ... blowing out/in windows. so think its called off with safety for fans and staff more.

Conditions were atrocious when I arrived at the ground about 6:30, the game would have been a lottery which would have suited Sunderland more than us. The weather had been really bad for about three hours prior and given the forecast should have been called off earlier.

Everton called it off 7:15 poor palace fans!
It's just ridiculous.

I tell you what, for the biggest league in the world's most popular sport, the amateurish things that go on across the board is staggering.

But when the decision was made at 18:30 all people who will have been working there will already have made their way to the ground and started work, and probably all the fans who had made the decision to go will have already set off - a few thousand of us were already there.

To call it off at 18:30 was probably the most dangerous time to call it off. People will have been U-turning all over the show in the usual rush hour and already bad weather.

Very very poor from the Police, City...

They'd shut Thelwall Viaduct at 15:00, they'd cancelled trains by 16:00, the Police told everyone to avoid the City centre by 17:00.
