Wonder if this was ever in city's hands? Surely with our injuries and with Chelsea and Barca coming up,the club would have been pushing for this to be postponed at 3pm.
I can't see why the club would have wanted the game to go ahead when they had an opportunity to get it cancelled. Maybe it's a premier league or police decision.
Poor decision to call it off an hour before kick off leaving many fans stranded.
It was like that game against Everton a few years ago. Every prem game called off that weekend but low and behold our game is on sky and everyone is patting themselves on the back for getting the game to go ahead. It was dangerous that day walking up to the stadium with loads of people slipping and we ended up losing.
