Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, Earth 2140, Emperor Battle for Dune, Total war series, Starcraft.

Really hope they remake a Age of Mythology and Emperor Battle for Dune.

Age of Mythology HD will be coming out soon : )

The Civilization series has some great games, V is defeinitely one of them but their money sucking approach to it is getting tiring... The expansions which all came out at £20 essentially just raise the game to it's 'final form'. Makes it slightly less enjoyable : (

Age of Wonders 3 is bloody brilliant, I'll add a link to my vid when I get home from work, but there's countless hours of content there if you let it get to you.

I love Crusader Kings 2 too Damo, even though I'm terrible at it!

I'm currently waiting to start to play the Alpha of galactic civilization 3.

I loved the first two so i should enjoy the third. Especially as i got to name a Star in game after the Mrs. So there's no way she can moan when i want to have a game. As i can use the old "its the game i named a star after you love".

Age of empires 3 will never be beaten. What a game, Shane I haven't got a good enough PC now because I'd still play it. Even when you got battered it was still enjoyable.

Picked up Crusader Kings 2 on Steam over the weekend.

What a phenomenal game. It reminds me a bit of Minecraft in that it's initially obtuse and you have to make your own story and set your own goals so to speak but when you do there isn't a more rewarding game out there.

It's a seriously engaging and at times difficult game. I started off in Scotland and rose to become King of a united Scotland, taking advantage of the war for England between Harald and William the Bastard, grabbed the Isle of Man and got into Southern Wales through vassaling, became the Duchy of Lancaster through Holy War and grabbed Northumberland in a shock and awe type move.

Properly tough game but the narrative of making your own bloodline and dynasty and watching your sons fight over the crown is amazing.

That sounds ace, it's a shame I've not changed my PC in about 3 years and it was never a gaming one to start with, so most games would probably struggle.

It would be nice for games like this to make it to consoles.

I think you'd be ok with Crusader Kings, it isn't a very taxing game on the system

I don't like the 40k stuff but remember playing Warhammer shadow of the horned rat (or something like that) years and years ago and loved it!

I've always been interested more in Warhammer compared to 40K.

Helpfully, Creative Assembly do a good job on this game they are making.

Whats the best paradox game to start with? Crusader Kings 2? Hearts of iron 3? Victoria? Europa universalis?
