Brian Clough is the greatest British manager ever, IMHO.

It was a fantastic achievement to win the title with Forest but they weren't quite a team of rejects.

They signed Peter Shilton for a record fee for a goalkeeper that season, as well as Archie Gemmell and Kenny Burns.

Along with Peter Taylor, he put round pegs in round holes....and was so bloody effective....an infectious personality too

Have to agree, he did a Leicester twice no less with back to back Roy of rovers European cups...

Money never bought anything though, crock of shit... interesting, and a little known fact, derby were banned from Europe for financial irregularities back then for 12 months in 69, even then the establishment hated up starts...

Make no mistake, England wouldn’t of been waiting 50 odd years for a World Cup if the old tie network would of had any balls....

A genius of the game, sadly overcome by his demons!!
