Nothing to see here ,let's move on

As in the number of teams it owns ? Perhaps but why would they ease off growing the current teams and that way making the CFG even more valuable. Don't forget this is a long term project for when the oil runs out. He is merely doing what some clever Victorian brits did but most didn't and now the National Trust own their houses
In his interview, Khaldoon talked about the next ten years. Last week Soriano talked about disciplined planning and hard work. They know what they want to achieve and how they are going to do it.
This investment is about sweating the assets.

Amazing to see it all in action. Mooy was once case - and Jack Harrison at Leeds Utd could also fit into that knitting pattern. Like any academy, many won't make it, but at least now we have crop of players that can bring the club pennies. I know Wikipedia isn't always accurate but of just two players from the 27 out on loan at academy and EDS level make the first team, that's a big improvement on the last decade. I can't imagine 25 others being released with ease. They're investments with pathways from one football system to another - or they're on a longterm plan. Last season saw 8 debuts from our EDS and that's up from 3 the year before. The Engineer gave debuts to 12 across his time, and Bobby Manc gave 16 new chances. Considering the EDS only moved into the Academy Stadium and Etihad Campus in December 2014, we're far, far away from a football factory but much closer to finding that link from EDS to the first team that has been there but never quite thrown us a huge selection to choose from. City Football Group is vast and diverse, who knows what will happen next. Properly proud to be a blue!

South America maybe next ?

If that happened, could a player loan deal be negotiated between the clubs with the CFG group ?

We could tap into the South american talent pool that way

if you look at the map of CFG clubs Africa has to be next. I’d guess South Africa.
