None of the above, to my knowledge, ever played against Big Dave Ewing. Had they had the pleasure the BigMan would have made them look like an overpaid bunch of pub team subs.
The best I ever saw playing city, having missed out on our glory years, was Kenny Dalglish. Seems to be something of a forgotten man post-prem but he was far and away the best player in britain for a decade when English sides dominated Europe. Always scored against us as well
Ronaldo at Barcelona for me, just quality and the complete striker. I've had the pleasure of seeing many excellent players live but the one that stands out for me is Bergkamp, one of the very few opposition players in my lifetime who got a standing ovation by the home fans. As for City players, I have to say watching Robinho and Benarbia has given me the most enjoyment from watching City.
