As i said, i don't care enough to waste my time.
My opinions are based on things they have said. I have no love of the monarchy either. (but had massive respect for the Queen as a person)

The question is ‘should’ you care

Only reason for me is the bigger picture (it’s not about Meghan)

It’s should the Royal Palace offices be able to control the narrative to the Media and trade stories

Should the Media be allowed to print totally untrue stories

Should the Press be allowed to hound you whenever you go

Should there be more control on the hateful content spread on social media and especially the bots created to increase the reach to its users

All the above are matters that have an affect not just on the privileged princesses but right down to school kids and others - we’ve seen it costs lives - Harry is the first one to really fight against all the above and it could be a force for good

My only take away from all this is that a load of free speech anti-cancel culture keyboard warriors are so triggered they seek to deny the Sussexes access to free speech and want to cancel them so the self owns on line are fucking epic.

I just made the mistake of trolling down the DM home page (yes bored), there must be 15 or so headlines condemning H & M, praising Kate and William. I've never seen anything like it from a mainstream "newspaper"....how is that responsible journalism ?

Most of this saga has passed me by but Mrs Beer pointed out a quote from the ginger one today. On being a royal he is quoted…..”It's like living through a soap opera where everybody else views you as entertainment.”

Now hasn’t he just trousered a zillion squid for appearing in a series where watchers will just view him and the circus around him as entertainment?

If he wants to present himself as someone who doesn’t want unwanted media scrutiny and intrusion and wishes to undertake a cathartic process where he bares all, why not do it in a non-Disney way and give the money he earns to a good cause.

The word is hypocrisy, which in this case should all be in uppercase, because that's exactly what it is. Manipulation and hypocrisy.

It's an utter disgrace mate and how they get away with it is beyond my comprehension. The opinions many - not everyone of course - have formed about Harry and Meghan are as a direct result of all the negative press they've received. And let's not be in any doubt that some of the coverage at least has a racism angle to it. Raheem Sterling highlighted this shit and City fans backed him to the hilt, yet some of those City fans think Meghan is fair game for the kind of coverage Sterling called out.

Harry's the only member of the Royal Family who has the balls to stand up to the despicable shit peddled in the press. The rest of them haven't got a backbone between them. Granted that Harry probably has more free reign to do it than his dad and his brother due to being that bit further down the pecking order but the Palace have more than enough power themselves to have nipped this in the bud. It shouldn't have needed Harry and only Harry to have called it out way back in 2016 when he and Meghan started dating. If the Palace had put their name to it as well then most, if not all, of it would've stopped there and then as the media know how much interest the Royal Family generates and wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of them.
