If you concentrate on absorbing the viewpoints you agree with, you'll think nothing is wrong. If you spend your entire focus reading the viewpoints you hate, you'll convince yourself there is a problem. It's like how the BBC gets criticised for being a far left wing, anti-british channel by the right-wingers and a platform for far-right hate by the left-wingers.
We already have regulators in place (Ofcom, IPSO etc) if they feel a journalist has broken the rules of what is allowed, and a body in which to complain to air such grievances. We don't need any more regulation of the press. The media has always been like this, though it has been ramped up thanks to social media and the pursuit of clicks, because clicks means money. Don't fall for it.
