Who knows what has gone on exactly here? They could be bullshitting or they could be telling the truth. Are we saying that if it's the latter then they should've kept schtum because some members of the Royal Family are beyond criticism? If something like that has been said and they're not happy about it then they have every right to call it out, regardless of who said it.

I notice up to now that there has been no comment on the matter from Buckingham Palace. You'd think that if it was bollocks then a denial will be issued at some point

I though the Royals policy was to never explain nor comment on gossip.

Im firmly in the camp that I’ve no issue in believing it and would want it investigating but for me to go there, they have to name the individual.

Until such a time they do it’s firmly parked in the mudslinging bay.

The palace won’t comment on a he said she said IMO but I may be wrong.

Pretty much - if they respond to one thing, all it does is make demands as to why they don't respond to the next one.

I don't expect a response that addresses specific points from the interview.

When a person that matters or in this case is involved, speaks out, it’s no more gossip. So you would actually expect an immediate response.

The Crown Estates are the property of the crown, what you are suggesting is that inheritance should be scrapped. So everyone on here, or anywhere in the country, who owns property and has money, must leave every penny of it, and all the property to the state.

No. That is your imagination. The crown estate is not inherited but exists as a corporation under the control of the crown, it does not pass as part of one's estate. The sovereign is not entitled to write it into her personal will.

You seem to have an obsession with Dianne Abbott... Some might draw their own inference why. And it might be very damaging for you. ;)

The Palace will deny it and then Meghan and Harry can do another interview to provide a bit more to the story and keep themselves relevant. Happy days.

No, the trashing of anyone or anything that challenges a large section of the medias world view is what is rotting society. Celebrities are not destroying society.

It’s all about opinions. Celebrities are in it for the money IMO. OK some do work for charities and do good work, but mostly they are lining their pockets. Challenging the world view is done through education. Hence more time educating and less time fawning over celebrities.

I talked to my eldest last night about the press coverage Meghan received. TBH although I was aware of the coverage I hardly read much if any of it specifically, but after our discussion I now accept I wasn't best placed to comment on whether there was an underlying racist element to it or not. I stand by my assertion that the press can target and vilify a person for reasons other than race. But my eldest was convinced there was an element of it that was racist in this instance. So I have to accept that I was possibly naïve on my part in thinking it wasn't, especially when considering the way Raheem was reported on as others on here yesterday rightly pointed out. You are never too old to learn I suppose.

PS just seen that clip of Alex Berisford with Morgan storming off. The cynic in me thought that might be staged. But how foolish does Morgan look?

That’s a bit unfair IMO mate. Security is hardly a frippery for an ex army high profile royal. They both mentioned death threats during the interview. God only knows what threats are made that we never hear about.
I guess since he has been cut off from all family income he will need to provide for his family

State Security is not provided to Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
They are resident Royals.
Leaving the UK, with its relatively low gun crime, to go and live in a place
that is rife with it, and publicly stating he's staying there, is not now the
responsibility of Scotland Yard, the idea is utterly ludicrous. To then whine
about 'Security,' and actually complain about his financial support when he's
trousered not only Diana's inheritance, but also millions from his father, is
more self pitying tripe. He has completely renounced his Royal Duties, he then
has the gall to demand payment from the UK taxpayer for doing the sum total
of Jack Shit, try that with an employer.
