The Harry and Meghan fuss

I talked to my eldest last night about the press coverage Meghan received. TBH although I was aware of the coverage I hardly read much if any of it specifically, but after our discussion I now accept I wasn't best placed to comment on whether there was an underlying racist element to it or not. I stand by my assertion that the press can target and vilify a person for reasons other than race. But my eldest was convinced there was an element of it that was racist in this instance. So I have to accept that I was possibly naïve on my part in thinking it wasn't, especially when considering the way Raheem was reported on as others on here yesterday rightly pointed out. You are never too old to learn I suppose.

PS just seen that clip of Alex Berisford with Morgan storming off. The cynic in me thought that might be staged. But how foolish does Morgan look?

Good on you for listening to your offspring. I have 3 grown up offspring and I have come to value their opinions greatly.

As for Morgan? I have nothing good to say.

If it turns out to be Charlie the ramifications for the monarchy are huge. He could and should never be king if that is the case and the BLM brigade will hound him for eternity
If Charlie has been racist, then he should pay the price. Same with the nonce son. None of them are above the law. What Harry has done is a shit house trick. Either put up or shut up. Harry telling half a story only benefits himself while damages not only the royal family, but the reputation of the country, it does not help one bit in the fight against racism.

It's one of those loaded phrases that you only ever see in tabloids and nobody actually says. Like describing food as being "washed down with champagne".
Over 30 articles on Mail online. Media attack dogs in full cry, all because a senior figure in the 'establishment' decided that he wanted a different life.
He and his wife should have just stayed put, said nothing until their mental health was totally fucked.
Watch them increasingly use similar tactics against Sturgeon albeit she wont attract as many clicks.

Great post mate.

Harry needs to put up or shut up now. He needs to name the racist offender and add context to what was said. You can't say you are against racism and then do nothing about it when you are subjected to it.

what IF it was his Dad though ?

would be headline news all over the World, think of the ramifications

fair enough if he was just some lowly celeb, but this is a whole different ball game.

and IF it was his Dad that said it, then who could blame them for leaving the institution

They need never to be held by the state. An agreement could be made to divide the holdings and transfer it into independent housing associations trusts. A transfer of current residences out of the Crown estate into private ownership could take place at the same time.
They can each have a large house and the money to maintain it for a certain amount of years. One off grants could also be given to compensate them.

Independent charitable trusts could be set up to maintain palaces and former royal houses. Some could simply be handed over to the national trust.

However unlikely, It is not impossible, it just needs the political will and circumstances.
No it couldn't, and no it won't.
It's just another daft bit of lefty nonsense that can't happen.

It could bring the monarchy down I would have thought seeing the diverse cultures in British society, if not William could leapfrog Charles and try to repair the damage
