Quick question for everyone. If the queen had given them £2 million a year fir security and another £5million a year to live off, do people think they would have done this interview?

Apparently Harry’s father gave him a trust fund of £30 million when they trolled off to Canada. We’ve already paid for their wedding and he must have explained to her what life would be like as a ‘Royal’. I think she’s an LA girl wanting a celebrity lifestyle. I hope they are happy and they get what they want but I do think money is the driver.

Please remember that these two are the ones who shout loudly about climate change yet their own carbon footprint is bigger than that of a small town. Every single thing that surrounds them has some element of hypocrisy or weirdness to it.

Harry has said that his dad has let him down so why hasn't he told his dad this? If he has then no matter how that goes why would you air it in the most public way possible?

Clearly their new life is going to be in LA rubbing shoulders with celebrities and doing cushty bits and pieces which this interview confirms. I can only imagine that this is what Meghan originally thought being a royal was all about rather than serving the peasants as the Queen has done without fuss for decades.

i dont even know where to start with that , she is american, she has celeb friends , should she say goodbye to them to please people?

i doubt very much she thought it was going to be like a celeb in a castle , that is ridiculous given the woman she is and all of the work with charities and the UN etc , i dont think she would have expected to be srtipped of her phone and keys etc and not be protected by the family

I’m not sure she really did mate. One thing that stuck out was the part with her saying she had car keys, bank cards, passport taken off her (I think that was the list in any case or similar)... she’s might well have gone into this thinking it’ll just be a lot of media attention (which was pretty shite a lot of the time) but maybe thinking she can be a royal of the people, mingle with the locals type of thing. Maybe like you say she hoped to influence the monarchy with a bit of Hollywood flair. But those freedoms she knew... to go down the gym, shopping, have lunch with mates, just go for a drive/walk... stuff we all take for granted.. it all goes.

How did she have a baby shower in New York if they took her passport off her.

Morgan is the prime reason that l watch BBC in the morning. lt would not surprise if it was staged but perhaps those involved in three hour programmes have to be more lightly wired up so they can get out for a quick piss during film reports, ads etc.
It is noticeable that those who praised him in the past are very anti him on this thread.

After watching GMTV this morning i have to say Piers Morgan is a bit of a ****.

He should just hack Meghans phone to see if its true, or maybe mock up some photos to incriminate them.

He is an absolute fucking piece of shit and the fact he lauds about the way he does is quite frankly a fucking pisstake. How he hasn't served time or been filled in is beyond me.
