In the immediate aftermath of Diana's death, he condemned the Royal Family, and in implicit terms blamed them indirectly for what happened. Did he just say that for the craic? It was on his mind when his sister died, which is telling.

What began as a snide smear campaign against Meghan is now overt hatred. The parallels between that and Diana's treatment are clear.

I was referring to what he said about the media's hand in her death in particular, not the family's role - if there was one.

Nobody's upset or angry. If anything, by saying that they'd impinged on your life you were the one who was upset and angry. Seriously, how the fuck do you get to the stage where 2 people you've never met have impinged/affected

they affected my life in that it was reported in the news.
I didn't understand why they had done it, so asked some questions

someone then suggested I watch the docu on nextflix.
I posted why i wouldnt. I used the word impinged which apparantley was wrong, even though it means has an effect, especially a negative one. It did have an effect in that it was reported in the news and made me sort of interested in the story and so I had a look at the reporting. It was negative as it meant i ended up reading clarksons and some other journalists bile, reading that sort of shite is definately a negative.

They've not impinged on our lives, but when they write hateful shite in a national publication, about a fucking young woman no less, they deserve to be called out for it as the scumbags they are.

Not arguing with that. They have been called out too, especially on here, by a cross-section of posters ranging from the eminently sensible to the mildly hysterical. As I've said, Jo Brand didn't really mean for people to throw battery acid in people's faces when she advocated it, and Frankie Boyle, I'm sure, had no intention of raping Holly Willoughby before killing her.

I apologise , as I said I just copied an pasted a reply to another poster. The other poster used lots of exclamation points etc and was clearly upset.

He never said that they killed Diana outright you complete and utter fucking bellend. He said he believed that they had a hand in her death, insofar as they were constantly haranguing her to the point that on the night she died they were pursuing the vehicle she was travelling in.
