Damocles said:My own little vent here, I'm programming at the mo, so this will mostly be related to programming:
I hate those programmers who intensely study the P=NP proofs, yet cannot build a simple app.
I hate Brainfuck, WhiteSpace and all of those other languages that make absolutely no sense. THEY AREN'T FUN, GET A FUCKING JOB.
I hate people who bleat on about the need for 64-bit machines and have 3GB of RAM in their computers.
I hate people who think that web programming is any less challenging than systems programming. I do both. It's not.
I hate people who believe web design and web programming are the same thing.
I hate people who put code comments that tell me exactly what is going to happen and not why.
I seriously hate Internet Explorer 6. With a vengeance.
I hate people who will use a Vector because they think it is a posh array.
I hate the whole agile vs traditional debate, and believe both sides need to be shot at with cannons.
I hate people who cannot see the big picture, and fail to see the beauty and amazement of everything around us.
I hate burning CDs and DVDs.
I hate broadband caps.
I hate needlessly, over-complicated code that is designed to look pretty rather than actually work efficiently.
I hate managed languages, and wish they would leave my memory alone.
I feel much better now.

vectors are so much more glamorous and mysterious. obviously it's pretentious to use one where an array would suffice, but you should still include them in everything you do, preferably in conjunction with complex number functions, and organise your data in the form of a pyramid. you should aim to make your code as timeless and mysterious as an ancient hieroglyph.
