I'm no Oasis fan, but just why boring cunts like Bob have to ruin threads for those who are is beyond me.
We had more than enough of this fucking music snob telling us just what we should and shouldn't listen to last time he was a pain in the arse who fucked off in stages in varying degrees of 'Look At Me' attention-seeking.
We get it Bob - you don't like Oasis.
Others do.
If you want to praise Radiohead, then start a thread on them, but this isn't that thread.
So kindly fuck off and keep your precious opinions to yourself and your pretentious student mates, because I was seeing three gigs a week long before you were swimming around your dad's ball bag, as were many others on here, and we don't need 'educating' by some pillock who's balls only dropped last year.

Was an attitude adopted by everyone, but isn't. You could see how I was treated on here at points over what I listen to and yet when I come in here for a bit of discussion I get people shouting at me.

Not once in this thread have I said a bad word about Oasis. I even said I liked their first two albums. I just got a little annoyed when someone called them "Without doubt, the greatest British band ever" because they were disregarding bands that are often considered to be some of the greatest of all time by millions of people across the planet. I think that's a fairly reasonable opinion to add to the discussion.

But when Damocles told everyone "nobody cares" about Radiohead past 'Creep', it's bound to get on my nerves because I like them. I replied directly to him in this thread because he wouldn't read one about Radiohead and therefore would not see my argument. But I'm not allowed to stick up for Radiohead without being branded a music snob (again) and being patronised by older members of the forum (again).

Do you really think that you have just uncovered a great lost band in Radiohead?
I saw them when you were at fucking school, possibly primary.
The trouble with you is that you think you have invented the fucking wheel every time you post about Crystal Castles, or Fuck Buttons, or Health, all of which I saw long before they were signed and you had heard of them, on top of which some of us saw bands like Neu! or Can or the original Pink Floyd first time around - we don't need lectures from you, or anybody else.
This is an Oasis thread, not a 'Bob Knows Of Better Bands You Saddoes, So Listen To The Bright Young Hipster' thread.

By all means, stick up for Radiohead. Hijacking threads, though, does tend to piss people off. Trust me, I know! Also, if people slagging off your favourite band ''gets on your nerves'' (your expression), then maybe you might want to give any music threads on here a swerve. If nothing else, your blood pressure will thank you! And as for being insulted by NF; you're not the first and, almost definitely, you won't be the last.
