I posted a direct quote from Noel Gallagher about Radiohead in reply to something said earlier in the thread about Gallagher's views on Radiohead.

You created this entire situation and you didn't even bother to read the post and just went off on the tirade that you were looking for an excuse for.
But I did read the post.

I read that you quoted Noel Gallagher's disapproval of Radiohead. I therefore assumed that you weren't exactly best friends with them.

Sorry about being mistaken, I must have been too busy being an overly dramatic and predictable dullard.

Any chance you can re-post what Noel said about Radiohead, as I'd be interested in that. I would go through the thread, but don't want to read some of the shite, as I can't be arsed getting involved

Bob, I'll put this as simply as I can.
You have singlehandedly ruined a thread about a band you don't even like.
And you wonder why folk have little time for you.
It's all about you, it's all about you baby.
I long for the day when you leave for good, as I'm sure most of the forum do.
Now please stop playing the poor little victim, stop this becoming The Bob Show and let Oasis fans have their thread back.

This was a good thread till BLOB tried to teach everyone about Radiohead.
Not really. Just ignore stuff you don't agree with. I've not seen his post which kicked it all off, but the only thing I can see over the last few pages is people slagging him off. If it wasn't for that, the thread would probably be fine.

Re: The i fu*kin love oasis thread

was working on Boneheads house just before he left the band and he gave me a copy of Standing on the shoulder of giants a week before it was released, my claim to fame :)
loved Oasis watched them at Reebok, Wembley and Belfast but always wished i was at Maine Road. i remember the first time i heard them a lad had slide away on at his house and i asked "who is this ? this is amazing" and we just had the album on repeat getting pissed, all about 16 at the time, then he stuck Karma Police on and we all fucked off and Happy Dave lobbed himself in front of a train ( ok those last 2 bits didn't happen )
some of my best days and memories would have an Oasis soundtrack

So me coming into a thread, making a case that Oasis aren't the best band Britain has ever produced and posting a few Radiohead tracks warrants some of the personal and patronising insults Damocles and yourself have directed at me, and will probably continue to throw at me until you've nursed your erections to full health? I don't agree, sorry.

This was my favourite of theirs when I was a young lad.
