The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

Called at one of my clients farm this morning...in the barn were more toilet rolls than I've ever seen in a farmers barn. Granted they had just built a new toilet and shower block for the caravaners....Oh how we laughed.

He'll be flogging them on ebay.

Don't get whats going on with loo rolls? I get the hand sanitiser thing, but bloody loo rolls.
Did the weekly shop this evening and everything except loo rolls is available.
This virus doesn't cause you to go to the loo more than normal, if you are isolated at home for 1 or 2 weeks, and you'd like to prepare just get a couple of packs instead of your usual one etc..
Stories of people buying 10 packs is madness.

Twix chocolate bars - i absolutely love twixes

Have you tried the salted caramel ?

Did my first proper shop today after a 3 week holiday. We'd run things down prior to leaving, so needed a full shop, no extras. Aldi was nuts, lots of empty shelves. Trolleys rammed with paper products and trays of canned goods.

Brexit meant we (UK Gov) stocked up on food items throughout 2019 (most warehouses full to capacity). No need to panic buy, but if things dragged out for years then rationing will happen. Worried about toilet roll? Upgrade with a boss bidet (not a scouse item).

Or use your shower.

Toilet roll stockpiling is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
