The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

Lower pay equals lower food bills would you suggest we cut wages?

So when a particularly job gets a raise every other job in the land gets one? Never heard that logic before. Also wages in other industries have gone up.

The way to prevent food banks is to pay people less? That one is a corker I must admit
Putting words in my mouth.

If you boost a sector that causes food bills to rise, but don’t raise other wages, then you cause people in other sectors issues in being able to afford to eat.

There has been no mention of wage cuts by me or anyone else, so it’s a bizarre take of my post.

If wage increases aren’t across the board, then you can see people either to use food banks or change jobs. Then we have the next crisis when no one can afford to work in a supermarket or a pub.

A question, i was using the standard unleaded petrol, i had to put in the new one in, E10 is it, if the only option going foward is super unleaded will they mix ok together?
Yes main difference is amount of Ethanol E10 has more mixing is not an issue. Only problem can be if you have an older vehicle the additional ethanol can rot seals in fuel system.

Too many firms tendered for work at stupidly cheap exploiting foreign workers who don't stick up for eachother. Was the same at Cartwrights who literally had an agency in Poland recruiting new workers who earned 8.50ph on a 12 hour night shift doing skilled work.

I don't want to see a return of that.
Not even if a dozen eggs go up 10p:-)

I know. I'm lucky I got out I put that in the post derrrr

I didn't tootle around MCR in a lorry never said I did.So you want a small part of the industry to be good for young people but the rest not arsed about. Wow. I'm not sure where you are expecting them to piss by the way. A lay by doesn't have a toilet.
And you then went right back to people don't have to do it if they don't want to. I gave you the benefit of the doubt but that post and not even seeing a correlation to care workers as an example even though the post actually told you why shows me not only are you very dim but a tad uncaring as well.

Enjoy your bubble and stay away from subjects that you know fuck all about and are too slow to understand people explaining it you.
No worries, you just continue spouting your crap on here believing in your own head that you know what you're talking about.

'Derrr'

Did a few weeks there on agency in 2010 coach building whilst waiting for enhanced identy checks for another role. Not good if you read the reviews for Tiger it would appear a lot of those practices have appeared there.

When has every pay rise in a every sector or even one sector all had a pay rise at the same time that so miraculously coincided with price rises? The answer is never. If you increase wages anywhere prices or tax may go up. So you are saying everybody in the whole oody country should all get the exact same pay rise.

We both know supermarkets don't operate on the brink they will try and pass them on and it's not through need.

This tale that wages are about right on the basis of food banks is hilarious. Some drivers or supermarket staff or whoever may use food banks. So by your logic you would pay them less so others have to use the food bank less. Apart from the driver who would have to use it more.

My economic policy and pay rise structure will be based on food bank usage. Good one haha

Nope, you still don’t understand what I’m saying.

I’ll leave it there as your tone is too condescending to engage with further.

I did 3 months on nights, watched a manager crush one of my mates hands by lowering a chassis onto it. He didn't get investigated and the lad was agency and got fuck all. 12 hour shifts with 10 min break and 20 min dinner we had. Was only 3 of us that were English haha.

I'd love to save the care workers too. But it's a Wednesday fucking afternoon, so a larger NI contribution and a smile is the best I've got for you.

On the day I started there were 8 of us I was the only English one and the only tradesman quick tour of the factory and on with the job one of the Polish lads 20 mins later was using the rip saw (unsafely) no training he didn't speak English so I couldn't help.

But it's people like me that will pay for this nonsense. It's going to be harder for us to travel to our second home in Provence, it's going to be impossible for my children to live and love across Europe like we did.

Already our nanny services are starting to increase in price, we found a lovely nanny from Lithuania and I'll be honest she's an absolute bargain. I worry we'll need to replace her with some monstrosity from a hell hole like Birmingham or Leeds and our children will grow-up with some awful accent. They will probably become drug addicts or whatever it is they do to amuse themselves in the north.

I love our EU, I love being a citizen of Europe. I despise England and if I'm honest, I'd like to see it wiped from the map.

Thank you Brexiters. As we see the true cost of your idiotic decision to leave the wonderful EU we see shortages in the workplace that mean wages will rise and costs go up.

Already we're seeing the price of nanny services increase and my friendly Polish builder has so much work on he's struggling to fit an upgrade to my orangery. We'll soon see the price of Pret increase and prices in my local Waitrose will no doubt follow.

For what? For your "sovrinty"? (I spell it wrongly because Leavers are so stupid). All that will happen is that we'll pay the working classes more and they will spend it on large TV's and other rubbish and still all be racist.

What a mess you've caused and I'm going to have to pay. I sat my daughter down last night and told her that her riding lessons would need to be cancelled, I said blame it on Brexit and Leave voters. She cried herself to sleep.

I hope you're all pleased with yourself!

Its called the market. Like it or not, that's the system we have.
