The irony is for all the “political thread is an echo chamber of leftists” bullshit in this thread, I am quite certain that by far the most ignored poster there thinks of himself as way left of everyone else who posts in it. He’s ignored because he’s an idiot and an asshole, not because of his political views.

True story: I played “arsehole” in Scrabble on my phone yesterday. Bingo and 75 odd points!

I often use Britishizations with you lot (see?) and am the only poster to write “colo(u)r” in an attempt to be all-inclusive.

However, I cling to certain Americanisms in certain circumstances — like “math” and “asshole.” Or we could just use “dickhead”.

There are times when I wish I could put certain posters on my ignore list, but not really an option as admin. Do think some who continually complain about/report other users should utilise it more though. Would make life easier all round.

I don’t share the political perspective of many who’ve complained about “leftism” in this thread, nor do I agree with a lot of the less-than-pragmatic left-leaners in the politics forums, but none are on ignore because they aren’t idiots nor assholes, and many of them have super-interesting football takes.

The other irony is that poster has tag teamed with a poster on the opposite end of the political spectrum (LOL) but posts in the same incoherent abusive manner.
