I just dont want to give the FA ANY more of my money just yet

They pissed me off by dragging us all down there for the semi debacle just to line their own pockets.

They are getting 2 fingers off me and I will donate £10 to a charity of my choice instead and listen to it on the radio....im going old school for it

Sad bastard.

Fair enough if thats yout thoughts. I bet your did / will piss and moan when its £150 a cup final ticket in the near future - Just because the FA can. I love the blues but i dont need them to live. They however do need me ( by me i mean us as the collective)

So you're CHOOSING to miss out on watching City at Wembley vs our most hated rivals, just for the sole of reason of not wanting to give money to the FA?

I frankly don't give a fuck if I'm giving money to the FA and nor do most people.

Nah, i will be going.
Its Wembley and we are playing the scum, £35 to get down and £25 for the ticket...£60 to see us paste them isnt too bad in my books!

Surely a large percentage of ticket revenue will go to charity/ community - not the F.A?

But thats why ticket prices are going through the roof - because everyone just pays them - Im not getting my point aross to you here am I? Anyhoo United arnt my most hated rival - Everton are a bigger bogey team for us, they stich us up all the time. Bet if it was City v Wigan in the CS only half of the folk will go....just because its united it will get a bigger crowd. is that right?

The FA Community Shield raises hundreds of thousands of pounds every year, distributed to community-based initiatives and charities up and down the country.

The funds are raised through a combination of tickets sales and match programmes.

Stop talking bollocks.
If you don't wanna go, don't go.

3 of us coming over from Spain for this!

I was there for the semi-final and final and will NOT be missing this!

Shame on you 'blues' if you can't make it down to 'that London'. It's costing me a hell of a lot more to get over than it would cost you.

Nohwere near as much as it should - Dont have figures excatly but not that much actually goes to charity - Thats why i will pay my £10 so a chairty doesnt miss out. The FA get no money to pay for their massive balls up of a staduim but the charities benefit - everyones a winner

I went to the EDS derbies at Hyde and Alty last season, yet I'm not bothering with the CS. I went to the semi (shouldn't be at Wembley) and the final (one of the best days of my life), and I'm sure there are thousands who couldn't go to either so it gives them the opportunity to get a ticket. Dublin is miles more appealing.

I'm not a sad bastard for feeling like this, it's just the way it is! I want my Wembley trips to be sepacial days like cup finals not friendlies.
