The improvement in Zabaleta

another superb performance by Zab.
agree he used to be a card magnet and liability, but seems to be using his experience and skill now instead of brute force. the ability to be a utility defender/ midfield player is invaluable.
the liability defender IMHO is kolorov.
 
He was excellent again last night, a hugely important member of the squad. He's been unlucky that Richards has been so good this year, otherwise he'd have started more. Never lets you down when called upon.

When i was watching the Copa America last year, he played at left back for Argentina and it seems he crosses much better with his left foot than his right as i don't think he made a bad cross all tournament. Either way he's bloody awesome!
