Tom Watson is a far better candidate to lead the party than Corbyn.
Every time he speaks its total sense and honesty.
Do the people actually want a moderate as leader (Labour or Tory)?
Im not so sure

Interestingly, Germany's highest court has ruled that by the German constitution, German law takes precidence over EU law and that no German gov can give away sovereignty. German gov conveniently ignores this. One wonders what would happen if Alternative for Germany were to challenge an EU law in court. It's been an interesting exercise but fairly futile. Some of those links seem to support your opponent's case but you've summed it up yourself in "so it does". The UK does have sovereignty. It has self-limited its exercise of sovereignty. You can be a sovereign nation but accept the supremacy of EU law - it's all pro tem until we sovereignly decide not to accept it.
Perhaps it's as simple as de jure or de facto. It's not the strict meaning but essentially we retain sovereignty but for some it doesn't feel like that because in reality we can't pick and choose which bits of international agreements (freely entered into) we accept.
I would buy into that.I can only speak for myself - yes.
Well in the main moderate leaders win decent majorities, so the evidence would suggest yes. Looking at the most stable government in the UK over the last 10 years then it would be the fairly moderate SNP in Scotland, so yes I think we do.Do the people actually want a moderate as leader (Labour or Tory)?

He was a rebel, who like Corbyn voted with his principles. No coincidence his change in politicking happened after threating to name establishment paedophiles using parliamentary privilege. The change is attitude is dramatically noticeable.Tom Watson is a far better candidate to lead the party than Corbyn.

Statesmanship has been sadly lacking for a very long time. This and a bit of statesmanship/leadership would also be most welcome.
