Depends who you ask I suppose. The electoral system hardly helped, but I would argue aligning with the Liberals wrecked them for the reasons above. Others may differ.

I hate the Tory party as a whole but I don’t hate every Tory MP - I’m certainly not like our good friend Mr Fumble who hates Tories for the sake of them being Tories.
