Would that be with the antisemitic, hard-left Labour Party?

Yeah, that shameful Momentum march through London chanting "the Jew will not replace us", the socialist graffiti on Jewish graves, gangs of Labour supporters attacking Jewish people, homes, businesses and places of worship, the raft of anti-Semitic Labour policies on everything from Jewish Schools to Kosher meat.

Yeah, except none of that exists.

Is it not the case that traditionally. Labour=Centre left/Tories = Centre Right/Lib's = Centre,
But a shift to the centre by post-New labour (under Tony) and New-Tory (under David) to get votes is imploding and what you are seeing now is the old political hues coming back to the surface and washing out the mdidle men who should never have been there in the first place?

I dunno though, i have not been in the Uk for a while...

I think people tend to get involved with politics because they are drawn to quite extreme ends of the spectrum, most voters are in the middle but far less inclined to get involved or even hold an interest. The result is that parties have within them a natural antagonistic element, rationale forces pulling to the center to gain votes and power (so they can actually make a difference) and conflicting forces pulling to the edges to satisfy ideological views.

What we are seeing is these forces that are generally contained within a party reach a breaking point. How the main parties react is key - if the two leaders keep pushing to the edges then expect more break up. Corbyn only knows one direction, May is railroading her party toward an ERG approved brexit. Something will have to give.

Most of the electorate are in the middle , which is why when Blair and Cameron dragged their parties to the middle they won elections. The middle men should be there and need to be if a party is going to win a proper majority. At the moment the parties and in the hands of those more interested in idealogy and control of their parties.Which is why neither can win elections.
