Would that be the same BRAVE ira,who i recall were about to attack a army checkpoint/ ruc station with a digger with a bomb in the bucket, only to have a s.a.s team waiting for them ,this was a soft target but unluckily for these BRAVE cowards, they met there match, and were all shot dead. Then Sinn Fein/ira said what about their human rights,oh yes not forgetting the bomb in manchester 96.....the o/p take your provo stance elsewhere.

Loughgall, an excellent operation, that sent a strong message to those bastards that the OP so admires.

And Gibralter.

Based on that kind of thinking, I suppose you'd say that Warrenpoint was a strong message to the British army?

You are coming across as quite the Provo tit.

So to summarise, you guys feel that all historic incidents, on both sides are still worth discussion/debate/arguing over as we strive to move forward?

On one level, you are absolutely correct.

Some of the responses on this thread have shocked me to be honest. I think that Ireland has moved further forward than England on this issue.

I'm not trying to be an arse about it...but I hope people can see the futility of the overall debate.

Everyday folk have accepted, yes begrudgingly in a lot of cases, that lots of shit has happened...but feck it, let's craic on. The dicks will continue to do what they excel in, being dicks. They won't win.

Utter fucking bullshit. You knew exactly what sort of response you'd get on here.

What the hell did you expect numb nuts!

You start a thread praising the IRA on a mainly British forum, if brains were dynamite you would not have enough to blow your hat off, you really need to get out more

Blue or not you are a tw*t of the highest order!

As has been said, you start a topic like this on a British forum knowing full well the kind of response you would get.
