Hi everyone. I'm new at the place. In fact, i registered to try to post a new topic but it seems to be impossible (maybe my fault) so i'll type it here.

I'm a football fan from Barcelona, not really a City fan, but i'm very interested in the club since last summer when you started to spend so much money. Actually, I liked the way you operate in the transfer market last season and i was happy when the Kaka deal could'nt happen. For me, ambition doesn't mean necessarely to bring in big stars to the club. Look at Sevilla in Spain, who reborn a big club from a really bad situation based on a great professional structure and knowing of the market to add good signings like Dani Alves, Baptista, Adriano, Poulsen, Maresca, Luis Fabiano... But Sevilla needed to sell players each summer to succeed and that's a handicap you don't seem to have. On the contrary, I think City has a flaw on his ability to sell players, and that fact takes me right to the point i wanted to talk from the beggining: I know you're trying to bring great players like Eto'o (as a Barcelona fan i can speak confidently about that being almost impossible because the player has too much pride to accept Barça doesn't want him anymore and he doesn't want the club to receive any money from his transfer), Tévez or Lescott but... what about the off's?

Shay Given, Taylor, Micah Richards, Zabaleta, Kompany, Onuoha, Wayne Bridge, Nigel De Jong, Gelson, Stephen Ireland, Gareth Barry, Elano, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Bellamy, Robinho, Petrov, Roque Santa Cruz, Valeri Bojinov. I assume that bunch of players count for the next season in one way or another.

What i want to know is what's the idea of the club about...

Kasper Schmeichel
Richard Dunne, Tal Ben Haim, Glauber, Javier Garrido, Michael Ball and Shaleum Logan
Dietmar Hamann and Kelvin EtFelipe Caicedo, Ched Evans, uhu
Benjani, Jo Alves and Darius Vassell

And above all what dou you expect to happen with youngsters like Michael Johnson, Daniel Sturridge and Ched Evans.

Excuse me for my english and thank you in advance.

Kasper wants to leave
Dunne may or may not stay
Ben Haim isn't wanted
Glauber is gone
Garrido may or may not stay
Ball gone
Logan has a year to go on a contract will leave if a team can be found
Hamann gone
Etuhu has a year to go on a contract will leave if a team can be found
Caicedo not sure what will happen with him
Evans will be shopped around
Benjani will be sold if a buyer can be found
Jo will be loaned out(or sold)
Vassell gone
Sturridge gone

Brilliant! Would you include any more players in that 'may or may not' category?

Re: Just this minute.............

just checking what u fans think of this subject. Because both you and me know that City is nothing. Ajax on the other hand is one of the biggest clubs in the world. 4 times winner of the EC I/ CL and we always have had players coming from our own acadamy playing for the biggest clubs in Europe and the our national team. We used to have Cruijff, v. Basten, Swart, Overmars, Bergkamp F. de Boer, R. de Boer, Kluivert, Litmanen, Kanu and Van der Sar. Now we have Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Babel, Ibrahimovic and Maxwell.

Man I hope Ajax draw City in the Europe League, we would absolutely trash you. we would tear you to pieces. please let Ajax draw City!

o wait...

PS Eto'o is staying at Barca.

Listen mate, City is nothing? you disrespectful twat if your gonna come on our forum and talk about our club then at least get the facts right. We are the 8th most sucesful English club of all time and get average attendences of 44,000. We are one of the biggest clubs in England and are now building a world brand, backed by billions . Ajax are a huge club with great history no doubt but the facts are you now play in a shit league and are a feeder club and nothing more. When we do qualify for the CL we will be attracting world-class players left, right and centre and believe me we would destroy you if we came up against you, infact we could easily beat you know. So please do us all a favour and piss off.

Re: Just this minute.............

Just to clarify what I think is currently happening regarding Eto'o.

1)Eto'o has 100% agreed to come to Man City. ( fact)

2) Eto'o is now trying to maximise his leaving package from Barcelona. (imho)

3) His agent may say some negative things about Eto'o joining city , but this all about number 2.(imho)

4) imho Eto'o will join City, I am very confident in that.

Cheers
