The Jo supporters have gone quiet...

Only 4 player played had an acceptable game for me on saturday

Zabaleta
Kompany
Hart

and I know people are going to disagree with me, but I thought elano had a good game (shit haircut mind you)

Fair enough. But as has been previously pointed out, Hughes fielded the same team as most fans would have picked against a poor, strikerless Everton team, and we still threw it away.

Its a pity irelands gone of the boil laterly

<stands up> My name is Fluffy and I am a Jo supporter.

The lad has got an obvious talent but is inexperienced in PL and lacking in confidence currently. But I must admit that I expected a rather more committed effort from him when he came on in the 2nd half. I really think that someone should sit him down and explain to him that a bit of extra effort goes a long way to getting himself endeared to the fans and manager. Standing still, looking up into the skyes when the ball passes a couple of feet behind you, falling down expecting a whistle whenever someone touches you are not the qualities that will be appreciated over here. I can't believe I am going to say this but Vassel looked more dangerous than Benjani and Jo put together when he came on.

and expect it to work straight away. anyone who has played football can understand that you need to play a run of games to get to your best. you cannot just lumo some players together who havent played together for ages and say "go and do the business".

FWIW with elano on the pitch we played ALOT better and created more chances than we do when he is on the bench

To be fair he does have a big act to follow

Cant be any worse then freddie (minus the tash) up there

Im still here dipshit, and maybe if you gave the lad a chance to prove himself instead of getting on his back at every opportunity the lad would get a bit of confidence. Pisses me off you tossers who seemingly have to pick one of our new signings (usually the youngest) and get on their back from day one and never give them a chance.

He couldn't give him a run of games because the fans were starting to get on his back and his confidence was all but gone. Our problem is we get clowns like shaundickov attending our games who are all to happy to get on our own player backs

its shit isnt it. im as dissapointed as anyone with jo, but he cannot just come off the bench with 10mins to go and be expected to do the business. our fans are getting more and more rutheless so i can understand that a run of games infront of our fans could finish him off!
He didn't get only 10 minutes. He played for the entire second half and still did very little except head the ball wide when it would have been easier to score.

Jo lacks the main attribute that all the good strikers need to possess.....pace!!

He's quick enough, just needs to start getting behind defences rather than coming back into midfield to get the ball.
