The Labour Government

My realistic options outside Labour and Tory are:-

Greens..... totally against their global warning environmental policies and the associated costs.
Liberals.... Who? completely ineffective and i'm not into their general policies.
Plaid Cymru Disaster, after an independent Wales (perish the thought)

I don't like everything Reform does, but if electing them helped Labour become true Labour and we nationalised the key industries and they addressed the real issues (immigration they might stand a chance.... but the Labour government we have right now is changing it's mind every five minutes and trying to say only what people want to hear... and they're making a right pigs ear of it... IMO.

Where do you go from here?
Do you seriously believe Farage is saying what he actually thinks or what people want to hear.

Learn English and how to write... that said, what's to disagree with there... you just keep the killing going in Gaza

The current political main players are for want of a better word inadequate and not good enough.

I cannot see how any other party could do worse, they really are that bad and to deny is at best ignorance.

I don't like Reform, but sadly they are unlike Labour and the Tories untested.

Like I say, you keep the Gaza fire going and don't offer any solutions to stop it.

I suggest you try and grow up and stop calling people names - not that I really give a flying fuck what you think, but it may just strengthen your hand?

I am to Starmer what you are to Trump.... see, we have a difference of opinion.

The main difference here is Trump, whether we like him or not, gets things done... take for example Immigration - Trump has allegedly stopped unlawful Immigration on their land southern border, yet Starmer, whose been in power longer can't stop the gangs (nor the boats).. funny that isn't it?

Starmer is insignificant and evertime he appears on the screen he is the preverbial rabbit in headlights... admit it, the job is just too big for him!

But Trump under the cover of general chaos is in the process systematically fucking over ordinary people in favour of the super rich.

Is that what you want for the UK?

The current political main players are for want of a better word inadequate and not good enough. Then don't vote at all. you wouldn't buy a car that was not "good enough"

I don't like Reform, but sadly they are unlike Labour and the Tories untested. They are being tested right now at local level and making a complete hash of it

Like I say, you keep the Gaza fire going and don't offer any solutions to stop it. It's a conflict going back generations but you think a solution is another snap the fingers exercise-a bit like your views on immigration. It's a bit rich coming from someone who offers nothing constructive on anything

I suggest you try and grow up and stop calling people names - not that I really give a flying fuck what you think, but it may just strengthen your hand? More contradiction and hypocrisy from a bloke who's never called anyone stupid, thick.. etc

I am to Starmer what you are to Trump.... see, we have a difference of opinion.??

Allegedly is the right word. Many of the gangs are in the likes of Libya, Afghanistan. I assume you're happy for the UK to send teams in there unilaterally?

Starmer is insignificant and evertime he appears on the screen he is the preverbial rabbit in (the) headlights... admit it, the job is just too big for him! Spelling dear boy!!
I've addressed your points Joe.

I still await your reply on how you, BIG Joe is personally worse off as a direct result of this government's policies as you claimed a while ago.

.... and, is this not more or less what Starmer is doing?

Taking away/reducing benefits, WFA and freezing tax bands whilst allowing all the big oil/gas and power businesses and banks to carry on profiteering regardless.... not too far apart are they?

I'll point out the obvious flaw in your plan.
If reform get into power or win a lot of seats, it would encourage Labour to move further to the right and be less 'true labour'

That's a bit like comparing the Daily Telegraph and the weekly printed Socialist Worker. Nobody would be stupid enough to make that comparison...oh, wait a minute.

petulant concrete farmer can't handle the truth - you are not being dramatic Mike you are being a drama queen

Latest figures show waiting ists have increased....

What's wrong with what they do in France? Years ago we were involved in a car accident in France and were blue lighted to hospital, service and care was exceptional. What do they do wrong or worse than we do in the UK?
How is a waiting list comparable to how you were dealt with following a RTA?

Someone I know had cause to call an ambulance yesterday morning. They arrived within 15 minutes, patient was in A& E within an hour, ECGs, blood taken, canula in, put on a drip, another ECG and released. Total time from leaving home to being back, leass than 5 hours. Service and care was exceptional as was yours in France, but:

France has a universal healthcare system, known as Protection Universelle Maladie (PUMA), that ensures access to healthcare for all residents. It's funded by social security contributions and offers a generous benefits package, with 70% of treatment costs typically covered by the state. While most services are reimbursed, private supplementary insurance is common to cover remaining costs and offer broader coverage.

I'm not sure you'd be happy with this Joe, as we all know you don't want to pay more for anything let alone your own health care.

Have you read the FT article he is referring to?

How do you feel about a paper such as the FT, which is supposed to an independent, serious newspaper, meekly publishing a clearly planted story aimed at shoring up Rachel Reeves’ position.

Also, what do you think about the HMRC’s approach in the analysis published by the FT, namely using PAYE data to determine how many non-doms are dropping off the tax data? Do you think this is likely to accurately acapture non-dom movements?
