I don't know, the principle is what matters not the effect. If I go out there then I'd probably have a similar effect which is zero.

I didn’t say anything in relation to Russian interference, or make any equivalence as such, so I’m afraid that’s a figment of your imagination. I’m discussing the UK government’s actions on the UK government thread.

Nor did I say anything in relation to a Trump win being in the UK’s best interests. However, if Trump is to win, can anyone seriously believe that dealing with him will have been made easier after Labour’s recent actions? Absolutely not, which is why they shouldn’t have done it.

Listening to Lord Hain yesterday it's clear that similar activities have been the norm for years.
It's nothing new, and I think even Starmer's statement showed how little concern the UK Government has for the accusation.
It's a simple political ploy by Trump. That's all.
