If, as you believe, the government, or Starmer personally, gave a multi-million quid contract to an aid, basically corruption, I take it that’s a front page bombshell?

Look, it’s weekend and I’m here in the back garden relaxing with a coffee, just watching the clouds roll by and scrolling through a bit of BM, F1, and other mundane stuff. I happened on your screenshot that had no context which reminded me of the type of stuff that the media headline about City. Therefore, I ask the question and hopefully get an answer off the person who posts it. Instead of somebody explaining how Starmer paid £6 mil to his aides father, I get called names.

If this is true then Starmer should be made accountable, would just like you to follow up with what the actual story is as the headline is all over the place.

You do know that Mcsweeney is Irish, his parents still live there and the money was in Euros because it came from the Irish government?

One fun fact I found out when seeing this a few days ago is that Mcsweeney's cousin is also a spin doctor for the Irish TD.

The murky world of political connections eh. That Mail headline is still a shocker though .... designed with people like you in mind.

Been busy relaxing today but noticed that nobody has even mentioned the actual story. Anybody, on behalf of HB care to elaborate on how the current UK government have given a backhander of £6 mil to one of their employees father?

Because I'm an idiot I did go and find and read the story. Quite why I bothered I don't know. Firstly it's an Irish politics story and secondly it's just word soup to imply that something might be amiss when as far as I can tell there's absolutely no evidence to support that. It's a complete none story.

The people who chose to ignore it were wiser than me and anybody looking at it as evidence of it being any other than clickbait need to have a good look at themselves.
