It sounds like you were talking to an inherently racist person. He could get to ninety and, chances are, he'll still be racist. But I honestly believe, when it comes to the younger demographic, they are an exception to an otherwise tolerant worldview. Hopefully this generation carries this attitude into the future to leave the likes of Britain First and Tommy Robinson ranting and raving in a dark corner.

I do agree that society is regressing somewhat, absolutely. A lot of it is social media; more specifically, it's eroding of independent, critical thought.

If, as you believe, the government, or Starmer personally, gave a multi-million quid contract to an aid, basically corruption, I take it that’s a front page bombshell?

Look, it’s weekend and I’m here in the back garden relaxing with a coffee, just watching the clouds roll by and scrolling through a bit of BM, F1, and other mundane stuff. I happened on your screenshot that had no context which reminded me of the type of stuff that the media headline about City. Therefore, I ask the question and hopefully get an answer off the person who posts it. Instead of somebody explaining how Starmer paid £6 mil to his aides father, I get called names.

If this is true then Starmer should be made accountable, would just like you to follow up with what the actual story is as the headline is all over the place.

One fun fact I found out when seeing this a few days ago is that Mcsweeney's cousin is also a spin doctor for the Irish TD.

I am aware of that one and we will see which one is correct, the IOD one chimes with my own eyes and ears whereas the Lloyds one it detached from my reality. In my experience I know which one is likely to be correct, but we will find out soon enough.
