Real politics and you can see the wheels starting to turn. Disgusting behaviour needs to be tackled and I’m hoping all parties are united in bringing all those who committed these evil acts to justice.

I was never a Starmer fan, he is not a Socialist, he is a social liberal at best.

I did hope when he got into power he would be more leftist, but he has gone the other way and i do think he needs to go and go now. He is destroying the Labour party. :(

With that majority and his legacy position in place he won't be going anywhere soon I'm afraid, Who would replace him? I don't think it's actually possible that a socialist can gather enough support to lead this country.

If he/she had a fair run at it maybe but its not happening.

He’s a centre liberal and he is getting on with the job trying to make this country better in the face of a tidal wave of absolute hate and disinformation.
 
Starmer must have done a decent job today. Was expecting to pop on this thread and have a chat/debate about Labours NHS reforms or Starmer’s response to the Musk dis-information.

Seems that real politics is not the talking point.

Looking at this Labour thread and the Conservative Party thread it's pretty easy to see why most people say 'they are all the same'. Debate issues for Fucks sake not whose failed ideology is best. What makes debate interesting is opinion not propaganda.

I don't believe the debate is on the issues, I believe the debate is if we have gone about as far as we can doing what we do. Do politicians look at what is needed to satisfy the needs of the modern generation and realise its not possible to achieve.
How do you prioritise when everything is pretty much a priority? If the public can't or won't accept the realities do you tell them anyhow or do you pretend you can fix it, come up with some slogans, lie A lot do a term or two with a nice salary then fuck off with all the accrued benefits.
