Here we go again.
He gave a commitment that the jobs were safe... shouldn't have done it but he did, so yes as leader of the country he is accountable.... just my opinion. So you admit, not necessarily down to him
It’s a bloody sad state of affairs and very unsettling for a lot of staff.
Trusts have to balance the books and are £7bn over budget and have been told to reduce the corporate functions. 3 of our local trusts, including the one Mrs MB works in, now have one CEO, but they need time to create one HR team, one facility team, etc etc. They need a HR department so can’t really lay them off but they can still function with a few less nurses.
Hope all goes well for you in your “reorganisation”. Stressful times.
Can you share why she is having the whip removed?Ooooops another Labour MP having the whip removed. Diane Abbott
Oh dear the wheels really are coming off, inflation, unemployment U turns.... never fear Captain Keirs' here.
I understand she basically went back on the apology she gave just before the election where she complained that black people were suffering worse racism than travellers and gingers... google it if you want more detail. Can you share why she is having the whip removed?
I knew why and see the removal as being justified. Not sure it causes any embarrassment for Starmer though, why would it?I understand she basically went back on the apology she gave just before the election where she complained that black people were suffering worse racism than travellers and gingers... google it if you want more detail.
Needless to say she has had the whip removed and caused Keir yer more embarrassment.
They stop being 16 on their birthday, the vast majority leaving school will be 16, some nearly 17. My point being 16 year olds won’t likely pay tax, 17 year olds on the other hand will be more likely to.
Like you I don’t really care much about the tax argument. Lowering voting to 17 would be more sensible in my opinion, mostly because I have concerns about how it may distract them during their GCSE’s etc but it’s a fairly moot point.

Why ask if you knew...? strange.I knew why and see the removal as being justified. Not sure it causes any embarrassment for Starmer though, why would it?

100% on Diane this one, and she knows exactly what she's doing.
Given the initial apology was based on a claim that it was a 'draft' that didn't represent her views, it's actually pretty sad that she's gone fully back on it.
She’s doubled down on comments she previously apologised for. Why go there again? How is it justified? She's sharing her opinion based on her own experiences.
