The immigration issue needs to be neutralised as best as possible. Think the system needs knocking down and rebuilding, and if that means a small loss of liberty for people trying to get in, in order to make it far more efficient, then that has to be a fair price for potentially substantially more social cohesion imo.Whilst I agree with the theory, I think in practice it would just whip an already angry country into a frenzy. The hatred of immigrants would intensify for certain.
I’m not sure what the answers are.
This situation needs to be managed carefully. We can’t completely ignore the concerns of so many people.
