How often do you check your bank account? About once a month for me. I don't see my wife's account-do you see yours?

It would have been deducted from the rent payment that the agent would send to her monthly. In this case instead of receiving about £3k she should have received about £2k, and it would be spelled out on her monthly statement from the agent.

Don’t bother with wifi, a complete break for me and my good wife. I shall be missing for about 18 days on here from the 16th November. Will catch up with all of you in early December.

Apart from the fact that the Senedd is already elected by a sort of PR, and the change to a different form of PR dates from before Farage found Wales.

It's £661.50 for the licence she should have got. Apart from processing the application, the council does nothing for that. It was intended to stop Rachman-type landlords but if the rent is £3200 a month, you have to wonder how the area fits the criteria for designation (high levels of deprivation etc)

A lot of people make excuses “she forgot, she was busy” it doesn’t work like that when you rent a property out. Everything has to be in order gas, electricity, safety certificates and a license and insurance if it’s a HMO.

What happens if there is a fire and you don’t have all the documents, if her name is on the deeds then she is liable.

I think you'll find they employed an agent to carry all of that out. The 2nd most important policitician in the country had just started a new job, was moving house, left things to her husband, and a £900 licence fell through the cracks. I'm no fan of her as a person but it wouldn't matter which party the person involved was from, it's a nothing story especially now the agent has admitted their own cock up. I bet there are plenty of landlords looking up their own councils right now to see if they need a licence.
