Yep. Welsh Labour are now suddenly very keen on PR after years of rejecting it, only because they've now realised the only way to stop Reform is to have a Marxist coalition of Welsh Labour and Plaid. How Keir Starmer still has the audacity to stand when his entire basis was built upon the bringing of the house of commons back in line and not further taxing the lower tax bracket. You could not make it up. Labour and Conservative are now working together to reject all Reform members from local government so that the Status Quo can be maintained. I am not a great fan of Reform, but I cannot stand anymore of the ridiculousness that goes on in the House of Commons.

I wouldn't even be surprised if Labour and the Tories formed a coalition to prevent Reform from winning the next General Election, the two of them are already the RedBlue Uniparty anyway.
As you say, anything to maintain the status quo.
Democorruptcy in action!
The status quo might be shit but it's still better than Reform so unless someone comes along that's better than the status quo then I'm all for keeping Reform out - if that's an unlikely Lab/Con coalition or voting Lib Dem/Green then so be it. Personally, I'd like to see a government where the Lib Dems and the Greens have a say as well because they can both can bring something useful to the table and they can help keep the other 2 main parties in check, but Reform can go and get fucked. You think it's shit now but I guarantee that if Reform got in then it would be a damn sight shitter.Yep. Surely Reform haven't proven one way or another whether they'll honour their various policy commitments? The status quo might be shit but it's still better than Reform so unless someone comes along that's better than the status quo then I'm all for keeping Reform out - if that's an unlikely Lab/Con coalition or voting Lib Dem/Green then so be it. What policy commitments are those? I can't see too many but to take the biggest one of the lot - they were banging on about increasing the tax-free personal allowance to £20,000 but as soon as they got questioned on it as to how it would be paid for, they scrapped that idea. If they're binning off major policies like that nearly 4 years out from a General Election then I'd love to see what their manifesto looks like with 6 months to go.Surely Reform haven't proven one way or another whether they'll honour their various policy commitments?
I don't dispute there's every possibility they won't honour their commitments and they'll turn out to be just as damaging to the UK as the status Quo we've had in place for so long now.
BBC news is turning into GB news as well. What’s the motive of the BBC other than to stir shit having this as their lead story.
BBC need to take a look at themselves
They are as close together as they have ever been in fairness, well the cabinet are. Some of their MPs have stood up to Starmer and Reeves so credit is due there.Yep. They've clarified they won't reduce taxes until they've firstly reduced spending which seems entirely logical to me, I'm not sure how anyone thought they could do it any other way? What policy commitments are those? If immigration matters to the majority of the public, how come they're only polling at around 30%? That's because most people aren't gullible enough to think immigration is the main issue or the only issue. They've clarified they won't reduce taxes until they've firstly reduced spending which seems entirely logical to me, I'm not sure how anyone thought they could do it any other way?
Obviously the biggest issue that matters to the majority of the voting public is their commitment to reduce immigration, who knows if they'll honour that commitment or if they'll be just as bad as the status quo when it comes to allowing mass immigration to continue at its current catastrophic levels.
I’m tired of all the media hype over Reeves and of politicians who know full well once elected to parliament they have to be whiter than white.
It’s not difficult to double check your paperwork and find your up to date and everything is in order.
Moving into a prime location number 11 Downing Street rents her Dulwich home for £3,200 a month. and fails to fill in the appropriate paperwork.
It reflects on her position as Chancellor of the Exchequer and taking care of the public purse who else can be “trusted” to replace her
The fact that she changed her initial story so completely, and in such short order, is the most damning aspect of this.I’m tired of all the media hype over Reeves and of politicians who know full well once elected to parliament they have to be whiter than white.

She didn't fail to complete the paperwork .... the Letting Agents did. Granted she should've followed up to ensure that the correct paperwork was in place ...... but something tells me that with the shit show that Labour have inherited she was distracted.
