The amusing thing about this thread is however poor Labour have been, and certainly deserving of criticism, the most embarrassing posts are still made by the Tory bootlickers and wannabe Reform roundabout painting knobheads.

That might be the reason, but personally I haven't discounted a Last of Us type scenario where there might be a new type of as yet undiagnosed fungal infection that in this case attacks the part of the brain that allows us to recognise what's in our self-interest.

They came in because the last government were atrocious and nearly crippled the country.
They are now being given the opportunity to try and fix the mess but seem incapable of going a week without some kind of cockup themselves so deserve their share of criticism, but the posters who are the loudest on this thread are taking the fucking piss if they think they should be given the time of day seeing as they would gleefully have the tories back in or worse (only just mind) the racist right wing roundabout wankers.

I’m sure you’ll just wait until you see what the others think before making any decisions yourself though regarding what’s best.

No, and I think that was my point. Rightly, the government have stated that they would neither confirm or deny any rumours on the budget and would not get into ‘tittle-tattle’.

Overall, I see no issues with the budget and it will take us all to turn this ship around. I get that we all have to pay a little more and me more than some, less than others. Just something I think we have to accept after the last couple of decades of economic destabilisation due to a number of world and UK events.

We already basically knew what was in the budget and then it was actually better than expected. Yet according to the press it’s even’ worse
