The Labour Party

All political parties are coalitions, and that is why they have nappers in them. You only have to look at Christopher Chope for the Tories. In our (very) diverse society, it's almost inevitable. You exercise party discipline, but there is always someone who says stuff you don't want them to say.

Conspiracy theories? They abound in our world and people from all parts of the political spectrum believe in them. It's just that some seem to be 'acceptable.' People get taken in with them all the time. They are 99% complete bollocks, and this particular one is 100%.

The Labour Party has not covered itself in glory here. No one is saying they have. But don't kid yourself that a lot of people, not just Muslims, are, at a minimum, 'concerned' about what is going on in Gaza. Some are fucking angry. Some hate Jews. Most don't. Lumping everyone who has concerns about Gaza together as some sort of antisemitic Nazi is a very dangerous tactic. Not least because some of those with concerns are Jews themselves. This outburst, ridiculous and offensive as it may be, is but a symptom of that underlying concern. Which, I have to say, the top politicians are not addressing at all.
Well, yes. A little bit of Labour difficulty is top story on BBC while a little bit of genocide is relegated to item 4.

Incredible. Shame actual ethnic cleansing of one set of the people who reside between the river and the sea doesn't trigger you as much. What is with liberals and 'tone'.
The River to the Sea upsets some folk yet the Right wing zionist publicly state they will kill the indigenous Palestinians off their land and then do the genocide and some folk think why did someone use a certain word. The genocidal deluded supporters are shocking.

How that terrorist state exits in its current form is incredible and to think it is funded by us.

The irony of the same tactic the blarites used to get rid of Corbyn could fuck up Starmer.
Weaponising legitimate concerns over an illegal occupation for factional purposes appears to be colliding with the reality of events on the ground. They would have got away with it if wasn't for them pesky Israelis live streaming ethnic cleansing.

We have cunts of all sorts living amongst us. there are anti-Semites and Islamophobic arseholes, if Starmer would have sided with anyone he would have been fucked.

What makes it worse is that by not openly supporting either the bell end ideologues he is trying to appease are screaming for blood.

His own party are giving him a good old fashioned fucking.

A remarkable amount of assumption in one post.

A politician knows the value of words. Using a contentious phrase in a call for peace is disingenuous and is the reason he was suspended. To pretend otherwise is equally disingenuous.

If McDonald wants to genuinely reach out to both sides and work for peace, I wish him well. Probably best he avoids marginalising himself from the get go, though.

Agreed. I don’t think Western Govts can maintain their current stance. Netanyahu and the Israeli Govts actions are indefensible.
He’s an absolute **** who needs to be in jail. In fact, throw him in next to the Hamas cunts and my rule against the death penalty would be seriously challenged.

Can’t work out who gives Starmer the most stick on here - those who are still planning to vote Tory or the Corbynites.

It would appear that most of us between those extremes think he’s doing a reasonable job whether they’re left or right of centre.

In fairness I'm not sure calling all Tories or Corbynites on here extremists is a very sensible view. There are even a few of us that aren't either that will comment on him, he is almost certainly going to be our next Prime Minister.

This is a football forum one doesnt need to 'pick his man' and consistently back him up like some lackey in his party. Not being politicians gives us the great benefit of nor having to behave like one.

Your last paragraph just reads as :-

I'm so sensible and right and everyone who agrees with me is also. The rest must be wrong uns.

If reading and contributing to this sub forum has taught you nothing mate, it’s the fact that there can only ever be one side, the right side and if you are not on it then into a box labelled x,y,z you must go!

Swimming against the tide on here is nigh on impossible ;-)

I can't believe the ingratitude of folk like yourself and @hilts on here sometimes. You are very fortunate that people more knowledgeable than yourselves take the time to come on these threads and correct your errant views. It can't be easy being right all the time about everything, but it's their cross to bear for the greater good and bit of gratitude and humility on your part would go a long way.
