As I said he has chosen some very bland MPs with nothing to offer but soundbites and cliches.

Reeves, Kendal, ashworth etc are just terrible

Kendal is a strange one. I found her to embody everything that is wrong with the Blair /Campbell 'spin' approach to politics, but when she took a step back and did that late night thing after question time I found her intelligent, honest and overall decent. She seems to lose herself and adopt a false persona when she gets her game-face on in the political arena. Burnham is similar although he seems to be a decent mayor.

Just a reminder that this Tory Government have borrowed more than all the previous labour governments put together (and we managed to right off all the debt owed to us by the third world at the same time)
 
Oh look at the select group whinging now, funny how they've turned, if it was Abbott being incompetent and getting stuff wrong or McDonnell's pathological lies they'd be gushing.

That's why I called it a 'cloak' of sound financial management. It's not real - the tories just shout about fiscal prudence and sound financial management, when actually they just mean being cunts to poor people.

I'd say it is worse than that.

They have cut the wages of NHS / key workers / front line staff systematically over the last 2 parliaments. They did it while continuing with the pension triple lock purely because of the headlines it would provoke in the right wing press. And they have dropped the tax rate for the highest earners and massively increased the wages of MPs.... There is nothing smart about this, its blatant self interest at the expense of the nations finances.
