Labour can't function when significant chunks of it's old supporter base switched to the conservatives over Brexit.

Things need to be redrawn, they need to do an old school merger and reinvent themselves. This ties into what @BigOscar is saying about Labour losing to the most reviled Conservative party candidate in decades, and after 10 years of conservative rule that's been awful for most people.

It's just not a party capable of winning an election in 2020. We need a left of centre party without 100 years of shit baggage and preconceptions.

Then who? You'd have to rid half the party because Burgon, Rayner, RLB, Abbott, McDonell are all tarred. You're looking back to the likes of Benn or Cooper which would go down well.

I'm guessing that Starmer will just get rid of the ones he percieves as his personal political enemies and keep the rest (and himself of course).

Well it wasn't referring to you directly initially but your postings on this, like Rascal's, show that your definition of anti-racism is very selective and tends to get overridden when someone you support, as leader of the Labour party, is shown to have ignored and even facilitated racism within the party.

You'd have been better off keeping quiet, instead of showing yourselves up to be hypocrites incapable of facing the truth,even when that's in black and white.

As Rascal said, most of the findings only involve a very small minority of the membership and Labour has a very large membership.

Shootings of black people by police in the USA only involve a small minority of a large population of black people. So that's ok is it?
