Im not sure that people think "Oh look police numbers have reduced so I'll go and stick a blade in someone". But I am sure that video sums up his lack of intellect that any comment anyone could make.

If you want more evidence of his lack of intellect I suggest you listen to his interviews. How often does anyone see a copper on the beat nowadays? It's now a very rare occurrence, and if they're
restricting stop and search, which has happened, then knife carrying and stabbing will just carry on,
even with a million more police. Now I know that stop and search is going ahead again, but with the
usual suspects wailing about freedom/racism etc; if it's not carried out robustly, police numbers are irrelevant.

Yes, we know the numbers have been cut, it was May who did it and it was a stupid decision, but that doesn't
alter the fact that you never see coppers about.
