So he's going to sit on the fence re Brexit, even within.his own party & advocate fuck all, so he can be on the side of whoever wins the argument ?
Like his position on nuclear war: "I don't want nukes but.....well if people insist we continue to buy them then we can buy the weapons but I'm not saying if I will use them if attacked......but of course if the committie decides to use them....or perhaps if there is a referendum..."

We've been here before.....
At the February 1974 United Kingdom general election, the Labour Party manifesto promised renegotiation of Britain's terms of membership, to be followed by a consultative referendum on continued membership under the new terms if they were acceptable.....
In a 1975 pamphlet Prime Minister Harold Wilson said: "I ask you to use your vote. For it is your vote that will now decide. The Government will accept your verdict."[3] The pamphlet also said: "Now the time has come for you to decide. The Government will accept your decision — whichever way it goes."
Back then the leadership wanted in, the membership out....
And this looks eerily familiar...
