The Last Post before the game today.

But we didn’t do the two minutes’ silence!

We, INCORRECTLY, all started clapping in the stands at the end of The Last Post instead of remaining silent and then that’s when we usually and should do a two minutes’ silence.

Think the two minutes silence should only be done on Remembrance Sunday.

Sorry to bring.a downer on the thread, but the talking, laughing, and general noise coming from the concourse behind block 115 during the silence was an absolute disgrace. The bars were also open, but I couldn’t tell if they were still serving during the minutes silence. Well done to everyone on the terraces.

They should have. He’s a dickhead! What he said to Zinchenko and Stones at the parade was a disgrace.

After the game yesterday I was walking through City Sq to the Met stop and the first thing he said - with a huge smile on his face - was “Welcome to City Square, the big news is that Liverpool, who were losing on 87 minutes have scored two late goals to win. Remarkable from Liverpool!”

He was beaming wit joy!

How is that “the big news” after City, who he works for, did the same thing?

Agree. My grandad survived the trenches in France and my great uncle didn't but I go to football to watch football. At 11am on the 11th I remember what they went through. I'm not sure why the two have become so closely linked in the last few years.

At least our bugler knew the tune and did a fantastic job , the bugler at the Bournemouth game had all the notes just in the wrong order ! Think possibly first time he had played it and the bugle !

Sounded quite heartfelt and clearly wasn't intended to be disrespectful.

I thought the bugler played brilliantly; it's certainly an emotive piece.
