I'm with you blue, also hoping its the kick up the arse we desperately need. Really need to start playing like the champions we are now and make that 6 points disappear sharpish.

Trouble is we've been saying this for weeks now.

There have been seasons when we won the Derby and the Rags have still gone on to win the title, it's not the be all and end all that people think, we are not even in the buisiness end of the season yet

But the defeat can't have happened at a worse time as far as the team's mentality. The manager is not on solid footing and the players can sense that, some of them may pack it in and just take the paycheck.

Well we should lost earlier this season then and maybe we would be on a winning run already including the derby...

Next 4 matches can be won for us but 3 of them are away matches but Newcastle/Sunderland are in deep shit form. Norwich is tricky as hell this year they not that bad in defence Hughton did a good job with them in defending.
We wont score 5-6 against them. (they kept a clean sheet against Arsenal and MU)

But if we cant beat them or deep shit form Sunderland, Newcastle then it is not 6 points gap but 10-12 points gap. And then Chelsea will be in our ass, as they are only 4 points worse with easy matches for them like Chelsea-Soton, Chelsea-Villa, Chelsea-QPR in their next 3 home games.
