I'm not buying this no pressure shit anymore. You have to remember there are a group of players here who have never been involved in a title race. They'll to get a stage with say 6-8 games left when the shit gets real. That's the acid test, because one or two of those players will bottle. With that amount of games left and top of the league, I don't care what club you are or where you've come from, you are going to want and start believing you can win it. That's the pressure and that's the time to deliver results and for me it's where their ass will fall out.

The same to a slightly lesser extent can be said about Spurs.

I still expect one of us or Arsenal to step up. I've seen us claw 8 points back on the scum, we all have, and given the ridiculous nature of this league we are still very much alive.

Our form is fucking shite of that I'll not dispute. However, you have to use context in that this league can probably be won this year having 7/8 defeats and that is just incredible. It really is. That we are still in with a shot after what we have produced this season is again incredible

Agree with this Proy, although I don't think we will be in the mix given our injuries and number of games coming up (although if we get knocked out of CL, and FA Cup, then we might be able to gather ourselves enough muster a run).

There is no doubt at all that the Leicester players will begin to feel the pressure as the dream starts to become a distinct possibility. As it did for Liverpool, who I would say were in better form than Leicester, and were a stronger, more experienced outfit, but still crumbled under the pressure. It may be that Ranieri is a miracle worker (he already is in a way), and keep his players shielded from the spotlight that will inevitably fall on them as we approach the last half dozen games. And if he does, and they keep their nerve, then good on them.

In my opinion, given the circumstances, I don't think we will win the league this year. I don't think we are good enough. Perhaps in terms of ability but certainly not mentality.

Arsenal have there best chance this year.

We have the me mentality and we are the only ones who do in the top four its just all our key players are out

Injuries have played a part. I'm not going to argue with that.

The mentality though, that's another matter. In fact I thought it was fucking scandalous on Saturday.

I can accept playing poorly. I can accept losing games when the application is there.

But I can't accept what happened against Leicester, because that was just not giving a single fuck. Fucking Gael Clichy was shaking hands on the touch line with the Leicster players, when we were 3 fucking nil down. And that was just warming up. Those on the pitch were even worse. To a man we had better players than them, but we were not up for a fight and that is completely out of order.

We need to start giving back what we take. How many fucking times was Augero hacked in the ankles, pushed to the side? We don't show enough spirit or determination to want to fight back.

It's grates me. I think it's fucking appalling.

I seem to recall when we were shit in the 80's the Kippax chanting 'why don't you fight like your fans do'. The same can be said at the moment as there appears to be a lack of passion and commitment and more of a 'we are better than them so we will win' attitude. Spurs is a must win and we have to hope that Arsenal can do what we didn't and beat Leicester.

To be honest, I'm not sure I want an Arsenal win in that game. A draw might be a better result and should we beat Spurs (big ask with the way we're playing at the moment!) then the gap between us and Leicester is down to 4 points plus we leapfrog Arsenal.

The nonchalant attitude has been getting to me for a while now. I don't know where it stems from, Manuel or the football club as a general principle, but we approach games like Barca do. Like a top European team. In those leagues it doesn't matter against smaller teams but it certainly does in the PL.

We are incredibly one dimensional and for all the professing that we play exciting football, I actually think we are currently very boring and have been for a fair few months now.

That all comes from 'we play this way and we will win this way'. That's fine when your mentality is right and your good enough to do it, but when your not it makes us look like fucking idiots. The lack of adapting on the pitch this season has been in such stark stark contrast to how we behave off it.

I really like Manuel as a person. He's very diplomatic, very astute and obviously an intelligent decent human being. But all that is off the field, he's a great bat for the media, there is more blood in a stone and I like the stability that's given us in front of the press. The rigidity in his tactics though is a major problem, and looking at the graph that was posted here earlier of our trajectory over the last 50 games, it only highlights that he's actually taken us backwards. He's spent a lot of money in doing that, and despite his personality I think he'll struggle to find another top league job.

I went through a phase where I felt the club wanted a branded way of operating and I wasn't so keen to blame Manuel for some of the mediocrity we've seen this season, but since the announcement of Pep I've changed my mind because he is everything that Manuel isn't and certainly wouldn't fit in a 'brand'. He has his own brand and will change the way we play drastically.

If Leicester finish within 15 points of the title I will boil my bollocks and eat them. The hysteria is unreal. They look good and are playing well but they are only top due to others failures. Last year in December Southampton had 33 points, only two less than Leicester the difference being City and Chelsea were a good 10 points better off. Even if Arsenal and City plod on the way they are they will still finish above them as they wont have it in them to last the full season.
Are your bollocks getting twitchy yet?
