There's ALOT i like about the Lib Dems and Davey espeically, he's a really good bloke. leader ? I'm not so sure. Starmer on the world stage and with likes of Trump & EU leaders looks the part. I think Starmer is much more pragmatic and diplomatic than Davey - but will see come election.

Davey does indeed come across as a good bloke but an electable good bloke?

No chance with the carved up system we have thanks to the Tories and Labour.

He would certainly be my second choice, imagine having an actual decent bloke in charge.

I think Davey is quite a shrewd operator. I think he recognised before the last election that the only way he could get media coverage during the campaign was to engage in what might be termed 'media stunts'. It certainly got him the coverage he wanted and despite certain media outlets mocking him he got the last laugh when the results were declared. He's repeated the trick during this conference and got himself the coverage despite the continued love-in with Trump and Farage over the last few days

It would be refreshing, to say the least, if these lot could build some momentum before the next GE. We need credible alternatives outside of the traditional two. As of now, they'd get my vote.

I’ve voted for the Lib Dem’s more than I have any other party over the years, I do think if more people actually did a “who should I vote for” questionnaire or really read their manifesto, they’d get a lot more votes.
